Directions

The Kerrytown District BookFest is an event that celebrates our local and regional book community, from those who create books to those who love and read them.

We rely on volunteers to make the BookFest a success, to help exhibitors, guide visitors, help presenters, make announcements, staff festival book and information booths and more.

Currently, we need volunteers in these areas:

Distributing Flyers and Posters to local businesses - until 5 September

Set Up - 7-11 a.m. day of the event
set up tables, chairs and signs
1 or more hour shifts

Check-in Exhibitors at Information Booth - 7-10:30 a.m. day of the event

Take down for the event - 5 - 7 p.m. day of the event
take down tables, chairs and signs
2 hour shift

Staff Information Booth - 11-5 p.m. day of event
Give directions and field questions from participants and public, announce events
1 or more hour shifts

Event helpers - 10-5 p.m. day of event
Children's tent, Main tent, kerrytown concert hopuse
1 or more hour shifts
