Welcome!

The 5th Annual Kerrytown BookFest will be held in the Farmers' Market in the historic Kerrytown district of Ann Arbor Michigan on Sunday, Sept.90 2006 from 11 - 5 p.m.

Each year our festival has grown, adding more exhibitors, more events, and of course, more visitors. In addition to our wonderful speakers, demonstrators, exhibitors and visitors, this year we welcome our Honorary Chair Patricia Garcia, publisher of the Ann Arbor Observer and our first Community Book Award recipient Jim Craven, Master Bookbinder from the Bentley Historical Library at the University of Michigan.

We are also pleased to welcome our special guests, the International Miniature Book Society will be holding their XXIV Conclave in conjuction with the BookFest. Over three dozen miniature book creators and booksellers from around the world will be on site, providing a unique opportunity to explore an unusual and beautiful part of the book arts.

  • Storytelling, book making, fish printing and paper marbling for children
  • dozens of exhibitors including libraries, booksellers, publishers, book artists, authors and more
