The Kerrytown BookFest Board is pleased to present the 14th Annual Kerrytown BookFest. The BookFest is an event celebrating those who create books and those who read them. The primary goal is to highlight our area’s rich heritage in the book and printing arts while showcasing local individuals, businesses, and organizations. The day will be filled with entertainment, education, and hands-on experiences.
The BookFest will be held Sunday, September 11, 10:30 AM to 5 PM, at the Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market in Ann Arbor. Last year over 4000 visitors enjoyed the BookFest, and this fall we expect an even better turnout. Once again we will create a colorful mix of activities and showcase them in our historic district. Visitors will observe bookbinders binding, creating and repairing books, and book artists creating entirely new pieces of art from a book. Authors from our state and all over the country will attend, and visitors will hear about their books, ask questions and meet them after panels.
With your help, the Kerrytown BookFest will continue to support this community, its businesses, writers and artists by bringing a wonderful event to the area. Your sponsorship would make possible this quality community event.
In return for your contribution, you will receive the various benefits that coincide with the level of your sponsorship contribution. In the different levels of recognition, there are opportunities for onsite signage and display, print advertising, logo recognition on our poster or in the program, a free booth at the BookFest to promote your business, and more.
Please join the other sponsors we have on board already in supporting the Kerrytown BookFest this fall. The Kerrytown BookFest is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Your donations are tax-deductible. We need businesses in our community to again help make this a successful event. For more information, please contact us at bookfest (at) kerrytownbookfest (dot) org or 734-769-1114. We look forward to hearing from you.
